Brian Beck, Attorney at Law
Brian has been practicing law for over twenty years, the majority of that time devoted to helping clients in the areas of civil litigation, contracts, probate, trust and estate litigation, and real property, including purchase-and-sale, boundary disputes, easements, and title issues.
Born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, Brian brings a down-to-earth ability to distill complex information into written and verbal language that clients, opponents, judges, and juries can easily understand. His problem-solving approach, clear guidance, and ability to simplify complicated information help restore his clients’ sense of confidence and control with regard to their legal matters. Brian also has a keen ability to bring parties together, having brought completion to transactions and settlements that appeared all but hopeless. He combines a creative soul with an insatiable natural curiosity and keen analytical abilities, a synergy that proves highly useful in the advocacy process.
Brian loves to move, so when he’s not working, he’s hiking, mountain biking, at the gym, or touring the west with his wife on their Harley. Brian is also an avid guitar player and is part of a local hard rock band.

Shauna O’Connor, Paralegal
Shauna was born in Louisiana and raised in Oregon. As a kid, she spent her school breaks in New Orleans and Houston with her family. Since 2008, she has been working in the legal field, where she started in title before becoming a paralegal. After taking legal assistant courses online, she decided to get a paralegal associate degree from one of the few American Bar Association approved schools in Oregon.
Her strong writing skills earned her a scholarship and she graduated on the Dean’s list in 2018. She is passionate about learning and her core values are curiosity and respect, all of which have led her to where she is on her career path today. While she has experience in multiple areas of law, her focus is on civil litigation. Today, she is known to handle complex situations with integrity and transparency.
When not at work, Shauna can be found outside hiking, mountain biking, volunteering at local horse rescues, and touring the high desert with her husband on their motorcycle.
